Shipping and Returns

 

ORDERS TO THE USA

  • All orders are processed within 3 business days and are shipped out of our location in Victoria, BC.
  • Please double check your shipping address before confirming your purchase. Elate is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages, but we will always do our best to help you locate a missing package. Please contact your local post office first to see if they are holding your item.
  • Orders $75+ will be shipped for FREE to all destinations within the USA (including Alaska and Hawaii).
  • Orders under $75 shipped to the USA will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $10 WITH TRACKING ($8 untracked shipping is also available. Please note that untracked shipping can take longer and does NOT come with a tracking number. Elate is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages).
  • All orders shipped out to the USA are sent via Canada Post regular or tracked shipping.
  • Orders containing only sample sizes will be sent in a padded envelope, using the regular shipping method (no tracking number).
  • Depending on where you live in the USA, orders may arrive anywhere between 5-12 business days* after they are placed with us online.

*May take longer to Hawaii, Alaska, military addresses and other non-standard addresses

ORDERS OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA

  • Shipping rates will vary depending on the country you live in. Your shipping rate will be applied at checkout and ranges from $25 to $35. All orders are shipped air Tracked Packet International via Canada Post. Please contact us if you do not see your shipping rate, and we will see what we can do! 
  • With all international orders, the receiver is responsible for covering the cost of any duties or fees incurred by their country's customs agency.

EXCHANGES

We recognize ordering cosmetics online can be difficult, so we offer samples sizes of all our face products. We strongly suggest you order samples to test out a new shade before purchasing a full size.

Once you purchase, if you decide the product is just not for you, we offer an exchange on products for 15 days after delivery. The sender is responsible for return postage fees, but we will cover the shipment of your new item. Please send an email to returns@elatebeauty.com and we will give you instructions on how to exchange your item.

Our policy lasts 15 days after delivery. If 15 days have gone by since your package was received, unfortunately we may not be able to offer you an exchange.

Damaged or Defective Items

At Elate, we stand behind the quality of our product. We absolutely replace items if they are defective or damaged. Send us an email at returns@elatebeauty.com with the nature of the defect, and a picture, and we will send a replacement of the same item and shade to you straight away. No need to return the defect, unless we request it. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If you did not purchase your item through www.elatebeauty.ca please contact the wholesale partner you purchased through first. 

 

Sale items and Samples

Sale items and samples are final sale. Only regular priced, full size items may be exchanged.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
